 Environmentally Friendly Water Repellent and Wood Sealer
EcoSealTM is a deep penetrating clear wood finish that provides superior UV and moisture resistance. Our unique blend of long lasting natural ingredients results in an easy to apply wood finish that strengthens with age. EcoSeal guards wood against swelling, warping, cracking and checking. EcoSeal has a low odor and is non-flammable. Use of this product does not damage the ozone; it has less than 30 grams of VOC (Volatile Organic Carbon) per liter, well below the strictest VOC air pollution regulations in the United States. EcoSealTM is also non-toxic to plants and suitable for sensitive environments such as playground equipment and gardens, and garden planter boxes. EcoSeal contains a natural solvent derived from a unique proprietary non-GMO vegetable oil that deeply penetrates the wood surface and encapsulates wood cells with a protective polymer resin. Our unique formula offers an easy to apply, environmentally safe alternative to flammable and toxic wood finishes and waterproofers containing chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects EcoSeal is non-flammable, non ozone-depleting, non-carcinogenic, non-corrosive and is not a HAP (Hazardous Air Pollutant). On August 29th of 2007, a single coat of EcoSealTM was applied to the left half of this weathered bench outside our office building. The images on the left were taken immediately after application, before the product was dry. No preparation was done prior to application. We simply brushed EcoSeal directly onto half of the weathered bench. The images on the right were taken on a rainy day (June 10, 2008), roughly nine months later, after a typical Montana winter.
